Reading Time: About 2 minutes
On November 26, 2024, LDDI hosted an in-person professional development session for Faculty of Education (FoE) staff on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Workplace. This session was a follow-up to an earlier session which took place on April 23, 2024.
During the session, LDDI presented six hands-on activity stations to help FoE staff learn about and engage with AI tools. These activities explore prompt design, creativity, multimedia, accessibility, wellbeing and AI coding games. They follow a three-step process — Explore-Reflect-Extend — encouraging meaningful, critical and thoughtful exploration of AI tools. We invite you to explore these activities for yourself and also to try out the related AI Knowledge Quest quizzes. You can find these Critical AI Tool Activities, along with the activities from the April 2024 session, in the Faculty of Education’s AI Corner.
At the end of the session, we asked participants to share their key takeaways, what tools or techniques they will use in their workplaces and what they are still curious about.
